What is the lining made of?

The inner layer that touches your baby's skin is 100% cotton carrying OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, a recognised standard for textiles independently tested free from harmful substances. It is soft and breathable, chosen with delicate newborn skin in mind.

What is the outer made of?

The outer is ribbed corduroy from the Aesthetic line. It gives the swaddle a soft, textured feel and a timeless look. The skin-contact layer is the cotton lining described above.

What age is it suitable for?

It is designed for newborns from birth. The generous 80 x 45 cm size gives room to wrap a small baby snugly and leaves a little growing room through the early months.

Can I use it in a pram or car seat?

Yes. The padded shape suits the crib, stroller and outings. As always, follow your pram or car-seat manufacturer's guidance on what can be used with the harness.

How does the closure work?

It uses a Velcro closure, so you can wrap and adjust your baby quickly. We recommend closing the Velcro before washing to protect the surrounding fabric.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. We recommend washing it before first use, closing the Velcro first, and reshaping it gently afterwards. Allow it to dry completely before storing.

How is this different from the lighter swaddle wrap?

This bear-ears swaddle is the larger, more padded option at 80 x 45 cm, with a structured foot section, which suits outings, the pram and cooler weather. The lighter swaddle wrap is more compact at 65 x 35 cm, made for snug wrapping at home and on the go. Many parents choose the lighter wrap for everyday closeness and this larger one for outdoor days.

Is it safe for sleep?

The lining is 100% cotton certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. As with any swaddle or wrap, please follow current safe-sleep guidance, keep the sleep space clear, and supervise your baby while they are wrapped.
