Why parents love it

The YappyIcon changing top is a solid oak and pine platform — it needs a padded surface before it can be used safely for nappy changes. The YappyNord changing pad is the purpose-designed companion for it. At 73×55 cm it fits the changing top surface with a slight overhang at the edges, and its raised sides on three sides provide a gentle boundary that helps keep the baby positioned during changes.

The cover is 100% cotton — the surface the baby lies on during every change. Two waterproof sheets are included in the set, attaching directly to the pad to protect the cover from leaks. When a sheet needs washing, it comes off, hand-washes at 30°C, and the pad is immediately usable again with the second sheet in place. The pad itself is hand-wash only — the sheets do the daily protection work so the pad rarely needs washing.

Available in White and Grey — both complement the White and Sage Green YappyIcon cot and dresser colourways.

Do I need this pad to use the YappyIcon changing top?

Yes. The YappyIcon changing top is a solid oak and pine platform — it cannot be used safely as a changing surface without a padded mat on top. The YappyNord changing pad is the purpose-designed companion for it, sized to fit the changing top surface with a cotton cover and raised edges to keep the baby positioned during changes.

What is included in the set?

The pad itself (73×55×4 cm, 100% cotton cover) plus two waterproof sheets that attach directly to the pad. The waterproof sheets protect the cotton cover from leaks and can be removed and washed independently, which means the pad itself rarely needs a full wash.

How do the waterproof sheets work?

The two included waterproof sheets attach directly to the pad and sit between the cotton cover and the baby. When a sheet becomes wet, remove it, hand-wash at 30°C, and replace it with the second sheet. Having two means there is always a clean one ready while the other is drying.

What is the cover made from?

The cover is 100% cotton — the surface in direct contact with the baby during every change. The filling is 100% polyester, which provides the cushioning beneath the cover.

Does this pad fit the YappyIcon changing top?

Yes. The pad measures 73×55 cm and is designed to sit on the YappyIcon changing top (65×43 cm surface), extending slightly beyond the edges. It is compatible with the 360° rotating arm of the changing top.

How do I wash it?

Hand-wash the pad at 30°C — do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Iron on medium heat if needed. Hang dry. The two included waterproof sheets should be removed and hand-washed at 30°C regularly — washing the sheets frequently means the pad itself needs washing far less often.

Which colourway should I choose?

White and Grey are both available. White suits the White YappyIcon cot and dresser. Grey works with both the White and Sage Green colourways and is a popular neutral for Scandinavian-style nurseries. Both share identical specifications.

Where is this made?

Made by YappyKids, a brand with over 10 years in the nursery furniture and bedding market.
