It depends on the swing. A HopOn Swing hangs from a single ceiling point and needs just 1 unit. A BaBi Baby Swing hangs from two ceiling points (it comes with two carabiners) and needs 2 units.

Is this hanger suitable for a plasterboard ceiling?

No. Per the manufacturer, a plasterboard ceiling is not suitable for swing installation — the anchor must be fixed into a strong, durable, load-bearing surface.

Is this the right hanger for a wooden ceiling?

No — this version is for concrete ceilings only. For a wooden ceiling, use the HopOn Swing Hanger for Wooden Ceiling instead.

Can this be used outdoors?
