Oak provides density and scratch resistance; pine adds natural warmth. There is no MDF, no particle board, and no veneers. The finish is a child-safe natural wood protective wax rather than synthetic lacquer or paint.

Does this dresser come with a changing top?

No — the changing top is sold separately. The YappyIcon changing unit replaces the dresser's standard flat top entirely — the flat top is removed and the changing unit takes its place, rotating 360° and locking in multiple positions for comfortable use at any height. When the child no longer needs a changing station, the unit is removed and the original flat top is refitted, restoring the dresser to its standard form with no modification to the furniture. The changing top is available separately on Tiny Tugz.

Does this dresser match the YappyIcon cot?

Yes — they are designed as a coordinated collection using the same solid oak and pine, the same natural wood wax finish, and the same design language. The dresser features a Y-shape detail in the oak structure that pairs with the K-shape detail in the cot, together forming the YK visual identity of the collection. What are the SoftStop drawer runners?

SoftStop runners are full-extension drawer runners that slow the drawer in the final few centimetres of closing, preventing it from slamming. They allow the drawer to be opened to its full depth for complete access to the back of each drawer. Silent and smooth, which is particularly relevant in a nursery environment where noise matters.

How deep are the drawers, and what do they hold?

The dresser is 43 cm deep, with three full-extension drawers running to the full internal depth. All three drawers are the same height and comfortably hold folded baby clothing, blankets, muslins, and nursery essentials. The 87 cm width gives each drawer a generous opening.

Can I use this dresser without the changing top long-term?

Yes — and that is the intention. The dresser is designed to function as a standalone storage piece before, during, and after the changing phase. The changing top attaches and removes without any permanent modification, so the dresser looks and functions exactly the same with or without it. Many families keep it as a clothes dresser through the toddler and primary school years.

What colourways are available, and do they match the cot?

The dresser is available in White and Sage Green — the same two colourways as the YappyIcon cot. Both share identical specifications and materials.
