The soft, looped bouclé outer is made from recycled polyester. Bouclé describes the looped-yarn texture that gives the surface its warm, three-dimensional feel. The layer against your baby's skin is the cotton lining described below.

What is the lining made of?

The inner layer that touches your baby's skin is cotton carrying OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, a recognised standard for textiles independently tested free from harmful substances. It is soft and breathable, chosen with delicate newborn skin in mind.

Is the recycled material only on the outer?

Yes. The bouclé outer is made from recycled polyester, while the skin-contact lining is cotton certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

What age is it suitable for?

It is designed for newborns from birth. The generous 80 x 45 cm size gives room to wrap a small baby snugly and leaves a little growing room through the early months.

How does the closure work?

It uses a Velcro closure, so you can wrap and adjust your baby quickly. We recommend closing the Velcro before washing to protect the surrounding fabric.

Can I use it in a pram or car seat?

Yes. The wrap is practical for use in the crib, stroller and during feeding or carrying. As always, follow your pram or car-seat manufacturer's guidance on what can be used with the harness.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. We recommend washing it before first use, closing the Velcro first, and reshaping it gently afterwards. Allow it to dry completely before storing.

Is it safe for sleep?

The lining is cotton certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. As with any swaddle or wrap, please follow current safe-sleep guidance, keep the sleep space clear, and supervise your baby while they are wrapped.
