Is the bumper safe?

The braided bumper is designed as a soft surround for the resting space, not as a crib bumper in the traditional sense. Always follow current safe-sleep guidance and supervise your baby at all times. The bumper can be removed completely once your baby begins to roll or move.

How does it work as a play mat?

Once the braided bumper is removed, the flat foam-filled base works as a floor play surface. It is firm enough to support tummy time and floor play as your baby develops through the early months.

How is this different from the Sleep Cocoon?

The Sleep Cocoon is a larger, enclosed nest (83 x 55 cm) with raised soft sides, designed primarily for newborn sleep and rest in the earliest weeks. The Braided Bumper Nest is smaller (70 x 47 cm), flatter and built around a removable braided bumper with a hypoallergenic foam base. It transitions from a resting nest to a floor play mat as your baby grows, making it useful for longer. If you want a dedicated newborn sleep space, choose the Sleep Cocoon. If you want something that doubles as a play mat and grows with your baby, choose the Braided Bumper Nest.

Where can I use it?

The nest is suitable for use on the floor, in the crib or on a flat surface. Once the bumper is removed, the mat base is ideal for floor play. Always supervise your baby during use.

How do I wash it?

The nest is machine washable. We recommend removing the braided bumper before washing, washing before first use, and reshaping gently afterwards. Allow to dry completely before use.
