What is the top material made of?

The surface your baby rests against is 100% cotton, certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. This means it has been independently tested and confirmed free from harmful substances. It is soft and breathable, chosen with sensitive newborn skin in mind.

What age is it suitable for?

The Sleep Cocoon is designed for use from birth to approximately 6 months. The 83 x 55 cm size gives comfortable room for a newborn, with the inner sleeping space measuring 23 cm wide, creating the snug, bounded feel that helps babies settle.

Why do newborns sleep better in a cocoon?

Newborns are used to the enclosed, bounded feeling of the womb. An open crib can feel too large and exposed in the early weeks. The Sleep Cocoon recreates a snug, surrounded space that helps babies feel calm and settled, which many parents find supports longer, more restful sleep in the early months.

Where can I use it?

How is this different from the Braided Bumper Nest?

The Sleep Cocoon is the larger, enclosed nest designed primarily for newborn sleep and rest. Its raised soft sides and snug shape make it ideal for the earliest weeks. The Braided Bumper Nest is smaller, flatter and built around a removable braided bumper surround with a hypoallergenic foam base — it transitions from a resting nest to a floor play mat as your baby grows, making it a product that stays useful for longer. If you want a dedicated newborn sleep space, choose the Sleep Cocoon. If you want something that doubles as a play mat and grows with your baby, choose the Braided Bumper Nest.

Is it safe for sleep?

The top material is 100% cotton certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. As with any baby nest or soft sleep surface, always follow current safe-sleep guidelines and supervise your baby. It is not recommended for unsupervised overnight sleep on soft surfaces.

How do I wash it?

The cocoon is machine washable. We recommend washing it before first use and reshaping it gently after washing. Allow it to dry completely before use.
