This one was designed with an Estonian children's physiotherapist to actually support what happens during those first months on the floor. The contrast levels in the colour palette are calibrated to stimulate visual development without overloading a newborn's still-developing nervous system. The six edge activities — a hidden mirror, crinkle shapes, movable wooden buttons, a squeaky star, a measuring tape, and a castle motif — are sequenced to grow with the baby rather than overwhelming them all at once.

The fabric is GOTS-certified organic cotton throughout. Wooden elements are sanded multiple times and finished with Osmo sealant approved for chewing. Every mat is handmade in Estonia, and smaller decorative details are cut from surplus fabrics sourced from the Estonian clothing industry — which means each mat has minor variations that make it genuinely unique.

Which size is right for you?

The mat is available in three sizes. The 80×80 cm is the most compact option — easy to move between rooms and ideal for smaller spaces or as a travel mat. The 100×100 cm offers more room to spread out and suits most home setups comfortably. The 120×120 cm is the largest option, giving the most floor space and staying useful longest as the baby begins to roll and move. All three sizes include the activity arches and are available in the same colourways.
